The
Centre has given its approval to open a Passport Seva Kendra in Siliguri, minister of State for External Affairs, Gen. Dr. VK Singh
(Retd.), informed the Lok Sabha today.
He said six more PSKs will be opened in
the country. They will come up in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Udaipur in
Rajasthan, Solapur in Maharashtra, Leh in Jammu & Kashmir, and
Kharagpur and Branch Secretariat Kolkata in West Bengal. The seven new
PSKs are addition to the 89 PSKs working across the country.(EOI)
