DM Darjeeling, PMK Gandhi, will now be DM Cooch Behar

KOLKATA: The state government on Wednesday made some changes in the postings of IAS officers at the district magistrate level. DM Darjeeling, PMK Gandhi, will now be DM Cooch Behar. S Mahapatra, the Cooch Behar DM will be the Jalpaiguri DM. Vandana Yadav, who was serving as Jalpaiguri DM, has already joined as private secretary to the Union minister of state for shipping, Mukul Roy.
Soumitra Mohan, the district magistrate of Birbhum, will be the new DM of Darjeeling. Archana, the East Midnapore DM will take over as the Malda DM. Rajesh Sinha, the Malda DM will now be chairman of the state marketing board. tnnPN Bhutia, the Siliguri municipality commissioner will be the DM of Uttar Dinajpur. Rajiv Kumar, who was in the Central government deputation for so long, will join as the DM of East Midnapore.
Abhinav Chandra, the ADM of Burdwan, will be the DM of Nadia. Sanjay Bansal, the DM of Nadia, will now be DM of North 24 Parganas. Binod Kumar, the North 24 Parganas DM will be commissioner of small scale industries development corporation. JP Meena, the CEO of Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority, will be the DM of Birbhum. Also, Durgapada Goswami will take over as the Dakshin Dinajpur DM.
