Gorkha Rifles from India and Nepal host families meet
Express news service/Shimla: Nearly 1,500 families of personnel from the first Gorkha Rifles from India and Nepal on Saturday assembled at Subathu for Reunion 2011- a unique five-day event which has the participation of retired and serving officers including Generals. Addressing jawans and officers Major General P S Ravindranath called the event a rare get-together for reviving old ties and sharing experiences of the veterans. Major General (Rtd) M L Rawat while sharing his experiences said calmness in crisis was the mantra for good officers.
