Barfee: Darjeeling comes to Mumbai for Priyanka

There have been innumerable reports that time and again have disclosed that how Priyanka Chopra’s packed schedule has been delaying director Anurag Basu’s film ‘Barfee’ that also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz in lead. Her multiple films and her debut music album has pushed ‘Barfee’ on the back burner many a times.

The team recently resumed shooting and citing the fact that Priyanka has been extremely busy and hence can’t fly to Darjeeling for shooting, a special set reflecting Darjeeling’s some notable places has been made in Mumbai’s Film city. Director Anurag says that “Priyanka is busy with her ‘other’ commitments”. Though he is being a diplomat and not directly quoting Priyanka’s whereabouts, it is very evident that the actress has been busy promoting ‘Don 2’ and is also been prioritizing her music album.

Sets of a school and a café that are based in Darjeeling have been designed and put up for show in the studios so that all the lead stars can shoot the film at their own convenience. The film has been delayed a number of times and is running behind the schedule.
