Gorkha News: Preliminary selection rally to Gorkha Training Centre

Shillong/Guwahati, Jan 5: Boys Sports Company, 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC), Shillong will be conducting a preliminary selection rally from January 25 to 28 from 0800 hrs onwards to select Sports Cadets for induction into Boys Sports Company in Archery, football and boxing discipline. the Interested sportsmen/boys from Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Assam, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura and Manipur will be eligible for initial screening.

The selection will remain provisional until approved by Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence(Army). Candidates should have passed minimum class VI and having knowledge of English and Hindi and age between 11 to 14 yrs as on 01 Jan 2012.
