The Chattra Parishad has said it will not have any alliance with the Trinamul Chattra Parishad for the union polls.
“There will be no alliance with the TMCP. We have fielded candidates in all the 80 seats,” said Muktinath Sharma, the unit president of the CP.
The SFI and the TMCP have also fielded candidates in all the seats.
The previous SFI-led union was dissolved in March last year for fresh polls but the process was deferred because of the Assembly elections and an order passed by the governor.
