School greenery campaign reaches Chandralok Kalimpong

Kalimpong|Mukesh Sharma: The school greenery campaign which got started on 18th June today reached the Chandralok governmental junior basic school. MLA Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri who was present as the chief guest on the day actively participated in the plantation drive along with the students. MLA Dr Chettri was also accompanied by the principal of the BT College Mahendra Bhujel, social forest range officer Manideep Gothe.The campaign has been organized by the education and the forest departments under the Darjeeling Gorkha Pawarth Parishad and it covers the entire primary and the governmental basic schools in the DGHC. The campaign is said to be end on July 22.
