TMC Highway Block President joins GJM

Teesta|Mukesh Sharma: The Gorkha Janamukti Morcha Highway Zone President Sanjog Gupta is once again back in the party. He had recently joined the Trinamool Congress following the confrontation with the GJM when denied for separate Constituency for Teesta.The President also the candidate of the Takling Peshok Constituency Ramesh Lama informed the above to the press after the GJM meeting which was held at Chitrey Guest House. Lama informing more said that the rift between the GJM and the party workers supporting the separate Constituency of the Teesta along the NH31A has normalized now. As per the new demarcation Teesta area now comes under 20 No Taklig Peshok Constituency under Darjeeling Sub Division. The responsible people have to guide and lead the people towards the right path and that has been well considered added Lama.Commenting on the Trinamool Congress contesting the election, Lama said that it is just to have opposition in the democratic set up, but the party that subjugated the people for 21 years are the leaders of the TMC. Edifying more he stated that the Gorkhaland word under the GTA itself is a big achievement as Gorkhaland is attached with the emotions of the people. The opposition till date has only talked about, but in reality they have not mend a single stick for the betterment of the community. Their programme has been only limited to defame the GJM added Lama. The Teesta area will be well taken care of said Lama and has hoped to remain uncontested from his Constituency. He also informed that the poor, unemployed youths and the development of his area will be well taken care of.On the other hand the people of the Teesta have expressed their gratitude to GJM President Bimal Gurung, welcoming the assimilation with the Takling Peshok Constituency provided with the local candidate added Lama.Sanjog Gupta after re union with the GJM said “I joined the TMC on my own will and I am back with my own will”. He said that after the announcement of the candidate for the Takling Peshok Constituency, he made his mind to re-join the GJM and replacing Lama if any other could have got the ticket the story would have been different said Gupta. Lama has always provided vibrant leadership he added.
