the state is a serious problem created
in the Sikkim .according to the news till today 35 patients of malaria
positive at Rangpo primary health centre is found in the area is a serious issue .first case on 10th
July was came from samardung and after that maximum cases are came from the
Rangpo IBM side .according to the news Rangpo IBM area is well known as a luxurious area .but maximum residents
are in rent working in the different industrial units .the owners of the houses
not know regarding the problems faced by the rented persons or local residents and secondly too much worst
condition of garbage disposal concept .there is
no any good garbage disposal system .all the garbage’s are thrown in the
open area is the main cause behind
spread of malaria .every year the health department was spraying anti malarial
spray in the area but tii today this year the said work is not done in the area
by the department .it is much necessary to start the spray of anti malarial
medicine in the area.rangpo nagar Panchayat also is suggested to take
initiatives regarding the problems of Rangpo IBM area by seeing the spread of
the disuse from the Rangpo IBM. This
correspondent has met with the medical officer dr upasana gurung of Rangpo
primary health centre she clarified that there is sufficient stock of medicines
of malaria in this time and department is also serious regarding the matter.
