Last tribute to Late Dr. SR Pradhan

People from all walks of life gathered to pay their last tribute to the SDMO of Kalimpong sub division hospital, Late Dr. SR Pradhan during his last rite on Friday. Late Pradhan’s body was taken to the SUMI premises from its home at Tirpai amidst a solemn gathering.A prayer ceremony was conducted led by Rev Father Samuel Lepcha. The bier was also kept for sometime in front of the sub division hospital, were the doctors and other staffs paid homage.The bereaved family along with the well wishers, staffs of the hospital, representatives and students of different schools and the public were present. Also present were the GTA executive Chief Bimal Gurung and his Sabhasad wife, Asha Gurung accompanied by other GTA Sabhasads, Samuel Gurung, CP Poudyal, Sunil Pradhan, Nima Tamang, Kazim Tshering, Kalpana Tamang, Dr RB Bhujel, Dawa Lepcha, Col Ramesh Aaley, Norbu G Lama, GTA Chairman, Pradip Pradhan, Kalimpong Municipality President, LB Pariyar and the Ward Councilors.It may again be recalled that 53 years old Late Dr. Pradhan passed away late night on November 28, 2012 following a heart attack.
