Police recovers decomposed dead body from rented room

The Police recovered a dead body from a rented room of a house situated at 10 ½ Mile, Tunibotey. As per the information received, the owner was not in the house since many days. When he returned home yesterday evening an unpleasant odor welcomed him. He followed the smell and realized that it was coming from the rented room. He tried hard to break the door, but failed to do so. Thus, he informed the Police.Following the information, the Police today opened the door in the presence of the Magistrate. The decomposed body of the tenant, Raja Shakya (aged 52) was found lying on the floor. The body was sent for post mortem at the sub division hospital. It is opined that the body has been lying there since past 8 days.
