Darjeeling Hill offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati

The Darjeeling hill town echoed with prayers and swarmed with devotees offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati on 15th feb. The day also marked the auspicious day for the Hindus, the Vasant Panchami. The devotees mostly the students flocked every temples possible asking blessings from the Goddess. Prasad was distributed and Bhandara was conducted in the temples. The hindu  temple around Darjeeling, Kalimpong,Kurseong,Mirik also flocked with devotees throughout the day.
