The 2013 Madhyamik examinations will start from February 25 and end on March 07, for which different schools have been identified as examination centres. Kumudini Homes is the main centre. Altogether 10 centres have been enlisted this year.
The Pagang Gumba High School for the first time has been selected as an examination centre.The In-charge Secretary, YS Ghising informed that with 11 junior schools being upgraded, this year, there are a total of 28 schools which have qualified for the Madhyamik. For boys the centres are SUMI, Kumudini Homes, Jubilee High School, Government High School and St George’s High School. Likewise, for the girls the centres are Kalimpong Girls High School, St Philomena and Pranami Balika Vidya Mandir. The students of Kumudini Homes, Shankar High School along with external students will be giving their examinations in SUMI. Similarly, the SUMI, Suruk Mandodari High School (Co-ed) and Chandra Maya (Co-ed) students have their centre in Kumudini Homes. The Jubilee High School will serve as a centre for the students of Gangotri High School, Government High School and Samthar High School (Co-ed), while the centre for the students of Indo Tibetan High School, Teesta Bridge High School, Jubilee High School and Gitabling High School is Jubilee High School. Likewise, the Girls High School is the centre for the students of St Philomena, Shankar High School, Jubilee High School and Teesta Bridge High School and in St Philomena, the students of Girls High School, Pranami Balika Vidya Mandir and Laley Rangpo High School will be appearing for the exams. The Pranami Balika Vidya Mandir has been allotted as the centre for the students of Gangotri High School, Indo Tibetan High School, Government High School and Rambi High School.Further under Block II, Algarah High School is the centre for students of St George’s High School, Ramlal Dahal High School ad Tender Bird Academy. The students of Algarah High School, Kagey High School and Pagang Gumba High School have St George’s School as the centre. And the Pagang Gumba High School is the centre for students of Mungsung High School, Lava High School and Dalapchand High School.
