Tamang Youth Association (TYA) support to TMC sees mass exodus

Bhanu Gram branch members of the Tamang Youth Association in Pokhraybong today resigned en masse at a meeting following the decision of the TYA leadership to support the Trinamool Congress in the election. Branch president Suresh Pakhrin along with secretary Sanjay Tamang and all branch members submitted their resignation from the TYA.
They said the TYA was formed for developing the Tamang community, but it has begun taking political shape. The branch members rejected outright the decision of the TYA to support the ruling front. (EOIC)
