Mirik Earthquake (measured 5.1 in Richter scale and the epicentre was near MIRIK at a depth of 67.1 km) damaged across Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) region Darjeeling but no casaulty or serious injury reported.
Apparently Longview has seen the most damages. However, people are out in the streets and worried about going back home. GTA sabhasad Binoy Tamang has left for Longview and Mirik to take stock of the situation, and to monitor rescue efforts.
Reports of damages are coming from Mirik busty, Murma, Sonada and other places.
