Out of the few
participants selected from Darjeeling, SIX students from Rainbow High
School, Panighatta represented West Bengal and participated in the
recently concluded IAKO National Kick Boxing Championship 2015 in Pune,
Maharashtra organized by kickboxing association of Maharashtra. Out of the 6 students, 3 bagged silver medals and 1 bagged a bronze.
These are kids from village areas and they don't have any financial support, still they represented a State.
The hard work, dedication and sincerity shown by the students, their coach and their school is outstanding, which has allowed our Youth to shine at a national level competition. We thank all the participants for their hard work and congratulate them of standing tall amongst some of the best in our country.
We are hopeful that all of your performance will encourage thousands of our youngsters to pursue their passion in education, sports and other fields of arts.
