Speaking at public function yesterday, Jan Andolan Party chief and
Vice-Chairman of the NB Development Council Mr. Harka Bahadur Chettri
claimed that JAP will easily win the upcoming Kalimpong Municipality
elections.
Mr. Harka said, "out of 23 wards, JPA had won in 19 and we are confident of retaining those seats in the municipal elections."
Mr. Harka claimed that "once we form the board the amound of funds sanctioned for Kalimpong's development will double ."
He further claimed that his appointment as Vice-Chairman of NB Development Council was because of his abilities and not because of his support for TMC.(TDC)
