A
team of six people comprising three participants and three officials
will represent Sikkim in the ‘54th Senior National Bodybuilding’ and the
‘9th Women’s Fitness Championship 2014’ to be held at Aurungabad in
Maharashtra from May 21-23.
As many as 500 participants from all
across the country are expected at the event that will be adjudged by
150 officials. Sikkim will be represented by Arun Gurung (currently Mr.
Sikkim), Tika Ram Pradhan and Navin Pradhan. Meanwhile, the three
officials from the state are IB Gurung, Sunil Gurung and Rabin Pradhan,
all national-level judges.
The team is slated to depart for the event on May 18. (EOIC)
