Court rejects Dipen's bail plea, orders further remnand

Darjeeling, Jun 4 : A Darjeeling court today rejected the bail plea of Dipen Male, one of the accused in the murder of Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League (ABGL) leader Madan Tamang and ordered further judicial custody of 14 days.
Defence lawyer Dinesh Rai appealed to the Chief Judicial Magistrate for Male's bail citing his ill health which was rejected.
Male was produced in court at around noon after 10 days judicial custody following his arrest on May 25 last. 
Male, one of the prime accused in the Madan Tamang murder case, was interrogated by CBI DSP and investigating officer Ashis Prasad during his remnand in CBI custody.

ABGL leader Madan Tamang was killed on May 21, 2010 in broad day light in Darjeeling.
