USFC(United Sikkim FootBall Club) win Independence Day Cup 2011 at Paljor Stadium

USFC gifts Independence Cup Prize Money to Spastics Society of Sikkim.
USFC Co-owner and Goodwill Ambassador for SSS, Bhaichung Bhutia to hand over the Prize money to the Society today at an informal meet at the Society home.United Sikkim FC won the Independence Cup Football Tournament after they defeated i-league side Shillong Lajong FC 2-1 in the finals.The match was played at the Paljor Stadium, Gangtok where new artificial turf is already laid.

The tournament featured eight teams United Sikkim FC, Boys Club, Sikkim Police Football Club, Dzongri Club, State Sports Academy, UKFC, Mohan Bagan SAIL Academy and Shillong Lajong FC. United Sikkim FC has decided to gift the prize money of 15,000 to Spastics Society of Sikkim.
