6. Eastern region-II – 16 (mech-11, elec-3, c&i-2)
7. National capital region-24 (mech-14, elec-4, c&i-3, civ-3)
Age limit: Candidates should have an age below 27 years as on 10-10-2011. Upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/XSM/PWD is given as per Indian government rules
Educational qualifications: Candidates who completed full time regular diploma in electrical / electrical & electronics / mechanical / civil / instrumentation / electronics engineering with 70% marks for GEN & pass for SC/ST/PWD & 50% for land oustees
Selection procedure: Eligible candidates who applies for the post have to attend written test & interview

Candidates have to pay 300 as non refundable fee in state bank of India & no fee for SC/ST/PWD & women candidates

Eligible candidates have to apply through online from NTPC website www.ntpccareers.net between 20-09-2011 to 10-10-2011. At the time of filling online application, candidates need to follow user guidelines & instructions mentioned below

Online application instructions:

1. Before applying online, candidates have to download challan / pay-in-*slip available in application registration of NTPC & fee is to be paid at SBI branch, payable at New Delhi
2. Candidates should have an valid email ID, incase candidates do not have valid email ID, they have to create their new email ID before applying online
3. Candidates have to pay fee in S.B.I with account number 30987919993 & CAG branch code 09996. the bank will issue unique journal number & branch code
4. After paying the challan, candidates have to fill application with journal number & branch code & other details at www.ntpccareers.net
5. Successful candidates are allowed to download admit card from the website & the admit cards are not sent through post.
