Football tournament for boys & Volleyball tournament for girls organized by 5/9 Gorkha Rifles

Imphal, September 25 2011: To nurture the spirit of sportsmanship among the school children football tournament for boys and volleyball tournament for girls were organized by 5/9 Gorkha Rifles under Loktak Brigade of Red Shield Division in Hanglep Sub division of Churachandpur district from 20 Sep - 24 Sep.

School children from Henglep High school have taken part in tournament with full zeal and enthusiasm.

5/9 Gorkha Rifles provided its assistance in terms of arrangement, seating conduct of matches and refreshment to player during matches.

It was a five day event in which large number of school children from various school of Hanglep Sub division have participated.

On the final day of football and volleyball tournament prizes were given to the Runners up team and Champion team.

Young school children have displayed excellent team spirit and skills of their game techniques.
