6/8 Gorkha Rifles of Logtak Brigade organized Dusshera Celebrations

Imphal, October 04 2011: 6/8 Gorkha Rifles of Logtak Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division organized Dusshera Celebrations at Ningthoukhong on 04 Oct.

The celebration was marked by a variety cultural programme showcasing various facets of Manipuri Culture.

Troops of the Battalion, who mainly hail from Nepal, also enthralled the audience with a display of Gorkha Culture.

Army personnel and locals mingled with each other and enjoyed the various cultural performances.

A Barakhana was also organised after the cultural programme.
