District collector (EAST) Mr D Anandan visited the earthquake affected areas, relief centres of Gangtok and surroundings

RANGPO/16^TH OCT/SANJAY AGARWAL- District collector (EAST) Mr D Anandan accompanied by dr  A B Karki and concerned areas  block development  officers has visited the  earthquake affected areas, relief centres  of Gangtok and surroundings to assist relief system and to ensure  proper use of  temporary  facility provided by the state government  .the  team  shows the stock of ongoing relief assets and  distribution .they has also met with the victims and families of earthquake who are living in the relief camps. At the outset the team has also visited   merrung village, bhusuk, p s road,rongeyak  surrounding areas of Gangtok along with power colony of 32^nd miles and government fruit preservation factory. At the bhusuk DC DIRECTED TO AWARD VICTIMS WITH PACCA HOUSE FACILITY UNDER THE STATE GOVERMENT SCHEMES and also directed to take care of the victims. It was understood that relief compensation was already distributed and victims express satisfication with the relief provide by the state government. in the visit district collector has also take the position of power, water  and essential commodities condition of the area .concerned authority has given the details and asked that all r ok and restored in all parts  of area. The team has visited the power staff quarter at 32nd mile. In the meantime the DC has requested the officers of power department to take care of the earthquake victims. And to provide the semi permanent structure to all the victims of power colony. The team has Also   visited the campus of government fruit preservation factory and taken the details of lost due to earthquake.
