The 6/8 Gorkha Rifles of Loktak Brigade celebrated Eid with local people at Ningthoukhong

Imphal, November 08 2011: The 6/8 Gorkha Rifles of Loktak Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division celebrated Eid with local people on November 7 at Ningthoukhong.

The event was attended by leaders, religious leaders and common people of the local Muslim community.

Col Kaushik Mukherjee Commanding Officer of 6/8 Gorkha Rifles extended his wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion.

The event which was attended by 62 people began with a warm welcome by exchanging hugs and offering good wishes.

Thereafter the Muslim brethren offered prayers and later enjoyed the feast which was specially prepared for the occasion.
