The whole world looks ahead to the Christmas season. In most parts of the world, Christmas Day is celebrated on the 25th of December. The birth of Jesus Christ celebrates known the exact date of his birth not because of the difference on the calendar and culture, Bishop of Rome was declared by the day as the day of the birth of Jesus Christ must be celebrated. The importance of Christmas celebration makes it necessary to include all the merry making activities like decoration of Christmas tree, exchange of Christmas gifts and cards, distribution of sweets and arrival of Santa Claus on the Christmas morning or evening. People celebrate it considering birth of Jesus. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus for members of the Christian religion Christmas is a wonderful festival for enjoying your friends and family, renewing relationships and sharing memories.
The importance of Christmas day holds with the birth of the Lord. Consequently, the meaning of Christmas day is not just commemorating the birth of Jesus with gift giving, visiting, eating and drinking. It is a time to see within us and know whether we have genuinely stood with the offer of the Savior of our sins.
If we acknowledge that certainly we have received Him as the Savior of our sins then we qualify to move ahead and celebrate the birthday of our Savior in devotion, prayer, sharing, visiting, and celebration.
These acts of merriment should be an outward course of inner transformation and inner association with our Savior. We ought to pursue salvation and require receiving His redeeming blessings and glorious grace before the celebration. Therefore, the significance of Christmas day is two-fold: Salvation from the penalty of peccadillo to the unsaved and salvation from the authority of peccadillo to the saved.
Christmas day is a decisive time of transformation and acquiring wisdom. Christmas is the time to spend time with ourselves and analyze within us. As we welcome Him, before that, we should eradicate all the miseries and evils from ourselves and should be in a state of piousness and contentment then only we can enjoy the festival thoroughly. We should shatter all the shackles of the sins, which has envelope us since ages. trees.
