Anurag Basu, who is in Darjeeling to shoot for " Barfii" with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, is struck by the beauty of the hills.
In fact, having tried to shoot at Filmistan where Darjeeling was recreated, the director still felt that something was amiss. This, after having to come back from Darjeeling with a bitter experience where the unit had a tough time handling the crowd gathered at the shooting spot. But this time around, things have been smooth for Anurag and his team, who've been shooting there since February 16. "Yes, we are having a good time shooting in the hills. Initially, I was sceptical and thought we might face some more challenges. But it's a much better experience this time around. Apart from the work that we have, we are like normal tourists - exploring the beauty of the place and tasting the local cuisine. Ranbir, Priyanka and I went to the Mahakal mandir on Shiv Ratri," says Anurag. Meanwhile, the director is clueless about his film being spelt as "Barfee" and not "Barfii". "I really do not know why it would be written as "Barfee" so far. I have always written it as "Barfii" and there's no numerology involved," he adds.
