GJM in Kalimpong submits memo to the CM through SDO

Kalimpong|Mukesh Sharma: The GJM Kalimpong sub divisional committee, 28 Zonal committee and several others organisation under the party today submitted a memorandum to the chief minister Mamata Banerjee through the sub divisional magistrate LN Sherpa protesting the reports of the high power committee.The GJM central committee member Norden Lama, Francis Dewan, Bijay Sundas, Kalimpong sub divisional secretary Samuel Gurung was present during the submission of the memorandum. Samuel Gurung talking to the reporters said that the reports of the HPC have been biased and unbelievable. They have played with our sentiment by just recommending 5 moujas to the 398 demanded. Gurung has hoped that the chief minister Mamata Banerjee will accept the demands of the GJM taking into considerations the future of the Gorkhas and the Adavasis. The HPC was not a single body committee whose reports have been just given by Shyamal Sen.Likewise in Algaraha the 7 zonal committee representatives a memorandum was submitted to the Kalimpong block 2 development officer Amalendu Sarkar.
