Kolkata, Feb 10 : Days after Mamata Banerjee publicly abused her security guard, the West Bengal Chief Minister apparently lost her cool once again and threatened to slap a photojournalist at an event in Bardhaman district of the state, media reports said on Sunday.
"I will slap you," Mamata was caught on camera shouting at the photojournalist during the 'Mati Utsav' (soil festival) at Panagarh town in Bardhaman district.
Mamata last week courted controversy when she publicly abused her security guard Kusum Kumar Dwivedi.
Mamata had gone to the Kolkata Book Fair on Wednesday evening and was irked when she didn't find her car when it was time for her to leave.
The chief minister told her guard : "Aapnake chabkano uchit" ("You should be whipped").
Dwivedi has been her personal security guard for several years.
Earlier, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo had triggered another controversy while slamming the Prime Minister and the Centre at a rally on the fertiliser price hike.
"I personally met the Prime Minister at least 10 times. What else can I do? Shall I go beat him up?" she had said.
