state unit of the BJP today launched its campaign for General Elections
2014 at the 14 constituencies of Sikkim it is contesting from. BJP
candidate for the state’s lone Lok Sabha seat and former MLA NB
Khatiwada had met party supporters in Gyalshing on March 25 and was in
Legshep today.
Addressing a large crowd, Khatiwada called on the people to vote for the BJP to eradicate communalism and end rampant corruption in Sikkim since the past 20 years. He blamed the ruling SDF and opposition SKM for propagating violence and being responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in Sikkim.
West Pendam BJP candidate Amar Lohar today also conducted a door-to-door campaign and interacted with the people of his constituency. (PR)
