The GJM chief Bimal Gurung today toured
Soureni Bazar, Ghoom-Zorbangla, Sukhay Pokhari, Sunada and Bijanbari,
where he welcomed 60 new members into the party from the ruling TMC. He
handed over party flags to all the new members and thanked them for
their support.
Gurung also visited the resident of GJM
member Sandip Pradhan, who had recently changed his allegiance to TMC.
After taking rest at Pradhan’s house for a while, he handed him the
party flag and welcomed him back to the party fold. He praised GJM’s
Ghoom-Zorbangla unit convener Norden Dukpa and president Chandan Yolmo
along with Sunada unit Sabhasad Mahendra Pradhan for their efforts to
bring the supporters back to the party.
Gurung said to save the identity of
Gorkha, people should not be divided instead they should be united and
fight as a single unit. He said GJM’s door is always open for people who
dream about the separate state of Gorkhaland. He also urged the people
to vote for GJM-supported BJP candidate SS Ahluwalia.(EOIC)
