Addressing the programme, Zimba highlighted the myriad problems faced by the residents and business community in the Kurseong town area. He alleged that in the name of trade licence, mutation fee and water connections, the residents of Kurseong are being plundered by the Kurseong municipality. He added the residents under Kurseong municipality area have been deprived of different basic facilities provided by the government. Hence, to secure these basic facilities, Kurseong residents have to vote for the TMC and its candidate Bhaichung Bhutia.
TMC leader also claimed and assured several developmental measures will be undertaken for the interest of Kurseong including setting up of business and hawkers community if the TMC candidate wins the election. (EOIC)
