In his speech he clearly stated that "The Gorkhas have not being able to get their due so far and which the BJP will give them when it comes to power at the Centre."
He said that entire Himalayan region must be developed separately and Darjeeling must be developed like Sikkim, Uttarkhand and Himachal Pradesh.
A separate Development board will also be constituted for the entire Himalayan Region including Darjeeling.
