A Sikkim bound Truck vehicle SK O1D 1361 met with an accident near Hanuman Mandhir area under Rambi check post killing the driver Indra Bahadur Das of Pakyong Sikkim on the spot .The incident occurred between 1.30 a.m to 2 in the night when the vehicle skidded from the road and fell in the river Tista approx (300 feet) .Luckily the helper survived in the accident who sustain minor injury according to police . The Vehicle was going towards Pakyong from Siliguri. Kalimpong Sub division last night received continuous rainfall . The helper informed that due to Fog and rain the driver could not see the road and it slipped . The body of driver was sent for Post Mortem at Kalimpong hospital .
