Former coordinator of GJM Kalimpong Sub divisional Committee Nordhen Lama appointed as the new president of the party. He has been appointed on the place of Sarita Rai who was the former president. Rai requested the party to Relieve her of the post citing some reasons after which a meeting was organised by party on 9th and elected Lama informed Kumar Chamling in a press meet. He said that the Party President and party central Committee at Darjeeling has given their approval to the name yesterday. Chamling inform that Rai has been moved to the Central Committee leader . Lama was a active party leader from the Morcha Birth.
