Kitap Singh Rai received 18th Parasmani Puraskar

The Nepali Sahitya Adhyan Samiti, Kalimpong organized the 18th Parasmani Puraskar Alangkaran Samaroh 2015 today. Celebrated Nepali literary figure of Duars Kitap Singh Rai name was announced this year for his contribution to Nepali Literature since 50 years . Rai received a shawl, eulogy letter, memento and Rs 15000 cash from the hands of the chief guest MLA Kalimpong Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri . The program was conducted under the presidentship of Gyan Sutar, president of Nepali Sahitya Adhyan Samiti. Teacher Ajita Subba  presented a brief life history of Parasmani Pradhan. Similarly Subash Sotang presented the life history of Kitab Singh Rai   .
