THREE GORKHALIS FROM TEESTA VALLEY BRUTALLY BEATEN UP IN GURGAON BY LANDLORD'S AND FRIENDS, POLICE REFUSES TO FILE COMPLAINT
This is the picture of Abishek Rai... he and his two friends Sagar Rai and Dev Kumar Subba, were brutally beaten up by their landlord's son and his friends. According to sources, this incident happened near Sabji Mandi in Nathupur DLF Phase 3 Gurgaon, Haryana, last night around 11 PM.
According to a report in the Eastern Sky Media which covers news from all over NE, apparently there was some discussion amongst the three boys and the landlord's son over a noise complaint, which had been settled amicably. Dev Kumar Subba, one of the victims said that "later around 25 to 30 men carrying sticks barged into the rented flat and started beating the three mercilessly. Even though they tried to shield themselves, they were no match for the angry men."
The local police refused to file an FIR.
The news only came to light, when it was reported to Delhi Police for North East Folks. Once the report of the incident was shared with Jt. Commissioner Robin Hibu, who is in-charge of the Delhi Police for North East Folks. This is when we here at TheDC also came to know about the incident.
Once the matter was reported to Commissioner Robin Hibu, he immediately swung onto action. He called up his colleagues in Gurgaon and requested assistance and support to the boys.
Darjeeling MP S S Ahluwalia is currently in Darjeeling, but his PA is in the AIIMS trauma center with the victims, and providing assistance. The MP has said that he will reach Delhi in the morning, and will look into the case personally
The situation is so desperate that the boys can die, if proper care is not provided.
We request all the politicians and social groups to raise this issue with your MP, MLAs, Sabhasads, Bimal Gurung... so that they can all pressure Haryana Government which is run by BJP and is a GJM ko ally to bring to book the culprits, and to bear complete expenses of treatment for the three boys.
We also request our politicians to demand action against the police officers in Gurgaon who refused to file the FIR.
All Gorkhas youth must lobby and take up this seriousness with due seriousness.
PLEASE HELP THEM IF YOU ARE IN DELHI.... THEY ARE NOW ADMITTED TO AIIMS TRAUMA CENTER...
[These are all pics of Abhisekh Rai... the other two have been more severely beaten]
This is still a developing news story and an angle of racism and discrimination is also being looked at.

Gurgaon Case Update: Delhi Police, GJM, MP and BJP Swing Into Action
Thanks to social media and immediate relay of news from Delhi to here and back... we can now confirm that GJM, Darjeeling MP, and BJP have swung into action to provide assistance to the three victims of the brutal beating up case in Gurgaon.
As soon as the news was shared via TheDC, GJM Delhi unit chief Manoj Shankar headed off to AIIMS to take stock of the situation.
Darjeeling MP SS Ahluwalia and Ms. Linda Newmai of the BJP NE Cell got in touch with Gurgaon Police Comissioner Mr. S Navdeep Singh Virk and took update from him, and also wanted to know why FIR was not filed. The Gurgaon CP said that the police were reaching the hospital and that "the statement will be taken from the three victims, the accused will be duly arrested tonight once identified."
Since the MP is currently in Darjeeling, his Personal Assistant Mr. Shiv Kumar is currently in AIIMS and is monitoring the situation.
We thank all of the above concerned people for their prompt action, but most important of all, we want to thank Jt. Comissioner Robin Hibu Sir of the Delhi Police for North East Folks, who took personal initiative to contact Gurgaon Commissioner, Darjeeling MP, Sikkim MP and Haryana Government officials to help the three victims.
We are praying for the well being of the three victims, who are physically and mentally traumatized.
We also demand appropriate action against those police officers who refused to file complaint, even after seeing that the three boys from Darjeeling were on the verge of death.
