SSB Siliguri Frontier sent a truck with relief materials like Dry foods, Blankets, Drinking Water, Dry Rations, Mosquito Nets, Candles, Plastic Bucket, Mug, Groundsheets, Noodles, ORS etc items to Nepal earthquake victims. The relief materials have been handed over to Armed Police Force, Nepal at their brigade Hqrs at Itahari, district Sunsari,( Nepal) last night.
Besides, SSB Siliguri Frontier has so far treated 210 nos patients and also provided solace to the earthquake victims of Nepal entering India through Indo-Nepal border by arranging food, water and immediate assistance.
Special medical team along with Paramedical staff under the supervision of senior doctors of SSB have so far treated 210 nos earthquake victims who have entered India through Panitanki , Pasupatiphatak in West Bengal , at Dhigalbank & Bhatgaon in Bihar. SSB ambulances were also placed at some strategic locations to provide emergency medical support to the victims. SSB personnel have also counselled bordering villagers for confidence building in this hour of grief.
