Fairy Tale Pictures, a leading production house in Darjeeling founded by
Phurba Tshering Lama, has announced a photography contest titled '
Spirit of humanity'. The competition aims to celebrate the innovative
talents of budding photographers from across the region and positively
capture and share their concept of human life through photography, said
Lama. "Interested candidates can submit their photos at Hayden Hall, 42
Ladenla Road, Darjeeling, which will be judged by a panel of four judges
consisting of professional photographers and photography instructors.
Prime focus will be given to composition, artistic merit, technical
qualities, and the ability to convey a compelling story. The last date
of photo submission is July 30," he further informed. The winner of the
photo contest will get an internship to work in Phurba Lama's highly
talked about upcoming Nepali feature film 'Macquee', which involves one
of the best film industry professionals from Mumbai. (HS)
