GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2016

GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is Schedule to be held on January 30 to February 07, 2016 has administrated by the collaboration of The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee). Eligible and interested candidate may follow the details given below:

Required qualification to apply for GATE:

•     B.E./B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm from a recognized university or institute.
•     B.S (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2) from a recognized university or institute.
•     M.Sc./M.A./ MCA or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
•     Int. M.E/ M.Tech (Post BSc) (Four year programme) from a recognized university or institute.
•     Integrated M.E./M.Tech or 5 year Dual Degree from a recognized university or institute.
•     Integrated M. Sc/  Integrated 5 year B.S.-M.S. from a recognized university or institute.
•     B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) from a recognized university or institute.

Application fee/Exam Fee

For Gen/OBC  Male applicants application fee will be Rs 1500/-

For Women/SC/ST/PWD applicants application fee will be Rs 750/-

Important dates: 

September 1, 2015 (Tuesday): Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) will commence.
October 1, 2015 (Thursday): Last for online application form submission .   

December 17, 2015 (Thursday): Admit card available from    
 

GATE 2016 Online Examination
Forenoon: 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon, Afternoon: 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM(On Saturdays and Sundays only):
January 30 to February 07, 2016
 

Result declaration: March 19,   2016 (Saturday)
