K B Nepali awarded with 19th Parasmani Puraskar

Mukesh Sharma: The Nepali Sahitya Adhyan Samiti, Kalimpong organized the 19th Parasmani Puraskar Alangkaran Samaroh 2015 today. Celebrated Nepali literary figure from Assam K B Nepali name was announced this year for his contribution to Nepali Literature since 50 years . Nepali received a shawl, eulogy letter, memento and Rs 15101 cash from the hands of the chief guest Prof. Ghyanshyam Nepal HOD Nepali Department NBU . The program was conducted under the president ship of Gyan Sutar, president of Nepali Sahitya Adhyan Samiti. Rita Subba  presented a brief life history of Parasmani Pradhan. Similarly Jay Cactus presented the life history of K B Nepali  . Many renowned poets of Darjeeling hills, Litterateurs, writers, playwrights, principals of different schools, teachers and students were present.
