Over 200 people have participated in the two-day audition for Temi Tea
Mr Sikkim organized by GBT Entertainment, Sikkim Chronicle and The
Accelerator, vying for entry in the top 17 or 20. Contestants from
across the four districts have arrived in Gangtok at Hotel Denzong
Shangrila to participate in the first of its kind event being held in
the Himalayan state.
The programme that concluded on Sunday had many individuals from across Sikkim from various backgrounds participating in the auditions. "We are so excited to be part of such a grand event. The contestants are fantastic and are beyond our expectations," said Karishma Pradhan, one of the judges. Event head Yougan Tamang said that due to the overwhelming response of the contestants on the spot registrations were also opened on Sunday for those interested.
Official grooming partner, Karma Unisex Salon and Spa, Founder, Karma C Bhutia expressed appreciation for all the contestants for actively taking part in the auditions. Such platforms will boost the glamour and entertainment industry in Sikkim, she said.
Logistic partner Stars of Hope (SOH), a volunteer group of Sikkim, actively partnered with Mr Sikkim Manhunt. SOH's Bikash Thapa said that such men's pageant was representative of a new Sikkim which was young, dynamic and raring to go and reach the zenith. (EOIC)
