GJM leaders granted anticipatory bail



Darjeeling, Mar 22 : Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) top leaders, including party president Bimal Gurung, were granted conditional anticipatory bail by a court in connection with a criminal case.







Darjeeling District and Sessions Court's judge Justice Harun-ul-Rashid granted the bail applications of GJM president Bimal Gurung, general secretary Roshan Giri, spokesman Binoy Tamang and Urmila Rumma. They were wanted in a cirminal case at Jorebunglow in 2009.

The court also ordered them to report at Chief Judicial Magistrate Court for further hearing on the application.

Yesterday GJM leader and former Andhra Pradesh chief secretary Trilok Dewan was granted anticipatory bail on a case.
