A youth with huge explosives including dozens of detonators arrested in Siliguri

Siliguri, Sep 26 : A youth with huge explosives including dozens of detonators, scores of gelatin sticks has been arrested from Hatighisha area near here.

Additional Superintendent of police (Siliguri) Amit P Javalgi told reporters today one Arun Chauhan (20) of Kishanjunge in Bihar carrying 39 pieces of gelatin sticks, 75 detonators and about four meters of wire was nabbed by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) from Hatighisha area yesterday.

The SSB handed over the youth to the Naxalbari police.

His arrest also paved the way for the arrest of one school teacher Suresh Bhagat (35) of Kishanjunge in this connection today.
