Teesta: The monthly meeting of the Phulbari Sahitya Samiti, which was formed in 2007 with an aim to develop the literature in Teesta, was today held under the chairmanship of distinguished literatteur Tribu Swami at the Teesta High School premises.
The teachers, students, literatteurs and many others from Teesta and the surrounding places attended the day. Many of them recited and presented their poems and writings and the meeting unanimously decided to hold the monthly meetings regularly with an aim to interact and sharing of knowledge. The meeting also decided to hold awareness campaigns concerning literature in schools in days to come. The monthly meetig has been named as ‘Srijana Serofero’ and the meeting have announced to carry further amid great enthusiasm.
The day also honored the 25 brilliant students who exceled in the previous board exam of Class X, XII. Nirmal Subba and Pravesh Mohammad who scored good marks in Nepali was also feliciated.
