Meeting between different Krishak Sanghs and bankers held

A meeting between the Magbol Krishak Sangh, Upper Tanek Krishak Sangh, Middle Tanek Krishak Sangh and Bankers was held at Upper Tanek today. The banks decided in providing loans to the farmers for constructing models under the animal husbandry schemes provided by the Centre. Different beneficial schemes for the farmers by the Centre were also discussed. The farmers were edified on how income/ revenue can be generated and increased through animal husbandry and how it can produce employment. The farmers present in the meet were also distributed saplings/ seeds of vegetables. Manager of Bank of India, Kalimpong Branch, Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of Krishak Kalyan Sangathan, Vishnu Chettri and others were present.
