A 16 year-old girl set herself ablaze in the morgue house at bhalukhop(Kalimpong) today in the evening. Police said the girl, raksha chettri (16) resident of bhalukhop who appeared her class 10 board examination this year, allegedly committed suicide by dousing her body with kerosene and setting herself ablaze.
According to sources the girl went to buy kerosene from a ration shop this afternoon but while going back to her place just a few meter from her house in the mourge house were death body of people are burnt she went there and allegedly committed suicide by dousing her body with the same kerosene bought from pdf shop. When burning she screamed loudly in pain after which a near by grass cutter heard the screamed and rush towards the spot but she died .later fire bridage and police reached the spot and from the girl mobile reached the relative after which she was identified later the body was sent for post mortem in kalimpong hospital the inquiry is on.
