The tiny Himalayan state of Sikkim has been catching up flare with it’s
daughters bagging repeated honor in various achievements since past few
years, in Sports, in Culture, in Literature, in Administrative Services
etc.
With the laurel passed by the first Women IAS Smt R Ongmu who is presently Chief Secretary of state in 70′s since then the women of Sikkim has been lashing Men behind in ratio.
This time three women has made through among 998 successful candidates comprising of 753 male and 245 female in the country who had appeared for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2012 whose results were declared on Friday.
The three women are : Aparajita Rai- Rank 358, Tshering Yangden Bhutia – Rank 542, Yangchen Dolkar- Rank 837 according to the UPSC website.
Already the celebration has started pouring in social network throughout the state, as many wishes has started flooding in Facebook ever since the VoiceofSikkim broke this news report.
