GTA horticulture department distributed hybrid orange saplings

The GTA district horticulture department (Mirik) today distributed different species of hybrid orange saplings and fertilizers to more than 100 farmers from Mirik, Duptin, Tharbu, Marma and Soureni areas. The main aim of providing the orange saplings to the farmers was to encourage them to adopt orange farming as a livelihood option. The saplings were distributes by Mirik horticulture department head SB Shah in the presence of GTA members Basant Thapa and Damber Chettri.(EOIC)
