Team Who Cares office in Darjeeling

Team Who Cares, an NGO that looks after the homeless, has opened an office at the Hayden Hall premises in Darjeeling. Coordinator Pinky Biswakarma said, "We are very happy to finally have our own office here. We can now work properly and brainstorm on new projects. With a permanent office in Darjeeling, Team Who Cares hopes to reach out to more desolate people of the area.”
The office in 42 Laden La Road was today inaugurated by Bishop Stephen Lepcha of the Darjeeling Catholic Diocese. Noted musician Paras Gazmer entertained the audience with his popular Nepali tracks such as ‘Do bato ma’ and ‘Sanjha ko ghaam’ among others. (HS)
